Laughs at the Loft, headlined by David Fitzsimmons, editorial cartoonist at the Arizona Daily Star and comic raconteur, will benefit the Women Build program of Habitat for Humanity Tucson. Each year, Tucson women (and their favorite men) get together to build and fund a house for a deserving family, who buy the house with a small down payment and zero-interest mortgage. The Tucson effort is part of Habitat International’s Women Build program, which helps women learn construction skills and empowers women to advocate for decent housing.
Fitz will be joined on the stage by two funny lawyers, Elliot Glicksman and Nancy Stanley. Admission includes light refreshments and a no-host bar on the patio, starting at 5:30. Show begins promptly at 6. Seating is limited.
